The one thing that I regret about Portnov Computer School is not starting it earlier! I should have done it earlier. It changed my life, it changed my vision of IT field. They were intense, well designed and I had an opportunity to have hands on experience to practice everything I learned. Every member of the school is there for you throughout your learning journey; they treat you like a family; they are so patient and willing to repeat as many time as needed and explain it until you understand. I really want to express my gratitude to Director of Operations Sofia Pravdina, her support and advice was very valuable to me.

Also, I wanted to thank Galina Lagunova, for her amazing teaching approach; she always makes sure that you understood everything and will go over everything in a very detailed way if not. She always there for you if you need help, sometimes even late nights. Her materials and classes are organized, clear and straight to the point. I’m still using a lot of her cheat sheets. I truly appreciate all your hard work; you are great teacher and mentor.

I like a well -experienced teacher at Portnov. The teachers (Janna, Olga,Galina and Sofia,Michael) are all wonderful and full of passion. They are pure souls .Portnov school made a huge impact on my life.They not only taught me the technical skills that are needed to be a SQA Engineer, they also taught me how to clear the interview.

Wanted to get a change in my career. Got suggested this school by a friend of mine. Instructors are very sweet, and detail oriented. They are really interested in helping you to get into IT world. The only thing I regret about studying in Portnov Computer School is that I did not join them much earlier!

The only thing I regret about studying in Portnov Computer School is that I did not join them much earlier! I knew about that school for years but I always thought that QA is not for me. I did not have a lot of IT experience and, thus, I was sure that QA would be very difficult for me. Don’t get me wrong, QA is challenging and you have to study really hard. But the Portnov Computer School provides you with everything you need to get your first job.

Instructors of the school (yes, for me they were not teachers, but friendly instructors) did an amazing job providing us with clear explanations, nice communication and a lot of positive emotions. And the most important part for me is that instructors of the Portnov Computer School recommended me to a company which eventually became my employer. My first job is a little bit more difficult than I expected it to be, but I’m really happy to work there and I’m incredibly grateful to the Portnov Computer School for the opportunity they gave me. I’m especially grateful to Janna Spector and Sofia Pravdina.

Two months after graduation I received an offer to one of the leading companies in Silicon Valley.

I am sincerely glad that I have chosen Portnov Computer School among all schools! Two months after graduation I received an offer to one of the leading companies in Silicon Valley. Not even a year ago I could not dream of such a job. I did not have any skills in fields related to computer technology before I started class. In Ukraine I worked as an economist at a Scientific and Design Institute.

The main plus is the ideal training program in accordance with the labor market. First, we study basic and theoretical knowledge, then – difficulties, practical exercises and real projects. In the first few months, we’ve already learned manual testing. Then we studied mobile testing and used our knowledge on a real project. At the end we had an internship with a practicing QA manager. We worked with Jira, backend, API automation, Selenium WebDriver with Java language, GitHub. So grateful to all our instructors, who constantly supported, suggested and pointed out our mistakes.

After graduation began a very important period of job search and interviews. I really want to express my gratitude to Director of Operations Sofia Pravdina, her support and advice was very valuable to me.
