UNIX / Shell / Perl(Short-term Seminar Training: 80 hours)The seminar is designed to introduce students to the role of UNIX operating system and related tools and technologies in today's world of software testing. This will enable students to enhance work productivity in the high-technology environment and to pursue subsequent studies for future career enhancement. Topics taught include: Commands of UNIX operating system (LINUX), UNIX Shell Scripting, Perl programming. The material is delivered from the standpoint of a Software Tester. The instruction includes both lectures and a hands-on component where students will use computers to practice in all above-mentioned topics. To evaluative students performance and progress, a series of quizzes and projects is also included in the course. During normal business hours, computers are always available to the students of the School for extra practicing. CURRENT SCHEDULE OF CHARGES (Short-term seminar training: 80 hr.)
